2.2.  Replace

  1. Select the desired part in CAD system.

  2. Click on the button Replace .

    -> The Select replacement mode dialog is opened.

    • Replace selected instances

      [Note]Note

      If it's about a pattern, in principle all instances will be replaced.

    • Replace all instances

      All instances both in superordinated and subordinated assemblies are searched.

  3. Click the desired option.

    -> The Open component project? dialog is opened.

    Select Open component project or Don't open component project. In both cases the view is switched to PARTS4CAD. In the one case, the project of the component to be replaced is opened, in the other not.

  4. In PARTS4CAD, select the part which should replace the original one. (In this example a longer screw of the same project.)

  5. Click on the button Transfer to CAD (<CAD name>).

    -> The part is replaced.
