At this year’s Industry Forum Sergio Renda, head of brand management at Lista Office AG, explained how the company generates price lists fast and efficiently and maintains spare part catalogs.

For this, Lista Office uses a combination of asimBase and CADENAS’ 3D CAD download portal  PARTcommunity. It allows companies to generate price lists on the basis of commercial master data from the existing ERP system and link the data via an interface with 3D CAD design data.

Publishing CAD data, selecting ordering parts and ordering takes place directly on the PARTcommunity portal. Using 3D visualization there is of special importance, since it allows a targeted selection of the desired spare parts from the exploded view.

This kind of spare parts management allows the system to build up and maintain parts catalogs in a simple, efficient and visually comprehensible way, by using existing commercial and CAD data. Integratively using existing data ensures that the parts catalog is always up-to-date and clearly arranged.
