Find components specifically with a search engine for engineers and designers

Find instead of search is the motto under which the technical search engine Fiarch It was developed by the software manufacturer CADENAS from Augsburg. The search engine was especially designed to find 3D CAD components and offers engineers the possibility to precisely find the desired part under millions of components.

The name “fiarch" says it all: On the one hand it’s a slur of “find instead of search“ and on the other hand - as the Urban dictionary tells us– also the slang term for “fetch“:

The search engine is not only able to detect objects via full text search in more than 6000 manufacturer catalogs and product websites, but also allows to find the desired object with the Geometric Similarity Search via a sketch or by comparing it to a 3D CAD model similar to the object.
In the latter case only an already existing CAD model has to be exported in 3D STL format and then uploaded.
