Sheffer Corporation Adds C20 Heavy-Duty Cylinders to Configurable Product Catalog by CADENAS PARTsolutions LLC

Sheffer Corporation continues to grow their portfolio of downloadable CAD models by expanding their online product catalog to include the C20 Series, cast iron heavy-duty pneumatic cylinders. The CAD models will be available via configurable interface designed by CADENAS PARTsolutions LLC, and embedded within the Sheffer Corporation website, http://www.sheffercorp.com.

Sheffer Corporation, an early adopter of CAD download technology, has been utilizing the CADENAS PARTsolutions configurable product catalog system since 2010. Beginning with a core set of key products, Sheffer has continually grown their online offering to meet the demands of engineers and designers.

"We have had many requests for the C20 series," says Randy Logsdon, Vice President of Sales and Marketing and COO at Sheffer Corporation. "Our goal is to steadily add to the system in order to meet customer demand. We know CAD availability is key for our sales pipeline. If the products can't be downloaded, engineers will not as easily spec into their designs and they will not carry through to the BOM [bill of materials]."

The C20 cylinder family is now part of Sheffer's industry-leading configurable product catalog, built by CADENAS. The online CAD catalog features more than 150 native, neutral and imaging formats. The native files feature embedded part numbers and complete product meta-data, which ensures the files carry critical product information through the BOM and to the purchasing department.
