CADENAS' 3D CAD model download portal PARTcommunity offers numerous improvements and convenience functions in its newest version 3.0
Since January the 3.0 version of CADENA'S PARTcommunity 3D CAD download portal is online. The new version impresses with numerous new convenience functions that helps to find parts even easier and faster.
More adjustment possibilities for portal providers
For eCATALOGsolutions customers with a PARTcommunity download portal, the new version offers many improvements. Without any programming effort it is now possible to create filter and calculation assistants in your own design, which are then also available in a perhaps existing app. The assistants impress with a process-oriented workflow where search results and a suitable parts selection are also directly displayed.

One of the most striking innovations is the WebGL 3D visualization, based completely on HTML 5: thus the 3D CAD model download portal PARTcommunity can display 3D objects directly in the browser without needing additional extensions like ActiveX, Java™ or Adobe Flash®.
This innovation is especially beneficial when using Firefox and Chrome, since these browsers block most plugins by default for reasons of security, according to the trade magazine Heise.
