Sketches are the base for the creation of 3D objects.

The corresponding docking windows for creating and editing are Sketch History [Sketch history] and Sketcher.

Click on New sketch [New sketch...]... to open these docking windows (see Section 7.9, “ Docking window "Sketcher " ”). The command can be found on all base layers, reference layers and absolute layers.

You will also find the Create new sketch on selected area [Generate sketch on selected face] command in the 3D view.

After creating the sketch and clicking on Apply changes [Accept changes], the sketch is Sketch is displayed in the 3D history [3D History].
