If the characteristic is already specified, check the part directly in the list of results and export it from there. Opening in the Part view is not absolutely needed but optional.
The exemplary figure shows a search with specified search term and the selection "Search for parts". So the list of results contains specified, directly exportable characteristics.
The 3D tooltip enables a detailed check:
The extensions in direction of X, Y and Z axis are displayed.
When clicking on the icon in the downright corner, you can drag the depiction to the desired size.
When clicking into the 3D view, you can turn, move and zoom the part.
In the Extras menu, under Settings... -> Part selection -> 3D Tooltip, you can set the predefined size (Small, Medium, Big or No 3D Tooltip).
